The Black Writers' Guild, MD brings an awareness of African-American literary talent. We encourage writing and literacy for all through workshops and educational forums.
We meet monthly in Baltimore and Prince George's County (PG) with speakers on a number of topics relevant to the writing life.
The 2007 Afrocentric Book Expo is the PG Chapter's second event in Mall of Prince George's center court. It will showcase African-American literary talent throughout the day, with author book signings and free workshops/ entertainment.
Sponsored by Karibu Books, Port-of-Harlem Magazine, Express Yourself Books and individual donors.
